The Environmental Services Department currently operates seven (7) dedicated rainfall stations and five (5) environmental monitoring stations that allow the Department to monitor rainfall throughout the city. Five of the seven rainfall stations are owned by the Center for Earth & Environmnental Studies (CEES) at Texas A&M International University.
